That comment shows how much you know about the welfare system. You seem to make a habit of advertising your ignorance.

Consider it fixed. I have to cede you this one...I'm sure you know a lot more about receiving welfare than I do.

BerkeleyPremed,

As a recent Berkeley alum, I find people like you to be the most worthless creatures on this earth. And for some reason, I ended up having to deal with many like you during my years at Cal.

You remind me of this one twit that sat in the front row of one of my classes. You would study all day...You would eat, sleep, breathe, MCB related stuff....In the end...I'd piss on you each and every time (***forgets to flush***)...and end up with the higher score...

Why do you think partying leads to C+'s?...maybe some people are just smarter than you...deal...

hint: they're the out of staters..who actually belong at cal...(you can deny it, but i'd say that the substantially higher standards that out-of-state applicants are subject to are convincing enough)
maybe you are an out of stater...in that case..then you just suck.
either way, if i didnt make myself clear...you still end up sucking.

some of us don't need to re-read that population biology chapter a second time around...maybe once is good enough...did you ever think about that?...or..have you not re-read that part yet..either?..

and anyways...even if we did cram and fail..why the hell should you care?...in fact, wouldn't that make the anal types like you..even more happy...giving you the opportunity to recalculate your chances of getting in med school after another one bites the dust...???

so next time you start b!tching about your experiences to others...think about how much your life sucks...your attitude is horrible...and i hope the medical community never sees you as a practicing MD.

take HIIC's advice...i agree wholeheartedly with many of his comments...and while you may tell him to crawl out of the gutter that he came from..(i dont know why you did in the first place..) i know you won't be saying the same to me...because..the gutter i came from happens to be your beloved highly ranked university...

you mindless, thoughtless fool... you're the idiot.
i'm done now.

The only redeeming thing about this thread is the entertainment it provides for the rest of us.

Y'all need to cut this ridiculous drama and get on with your lives.

Hey my main man Berkely,
do you know where i can get an application to transfer to your fine institution? I like the way you think and would absolutely LOVE to meet you. I think we can change the way people think about study habits and start a well needed revolution!!

Simply stunning.....
I m speechless.

Q.E.D.

I agree with you about out-of-staters being subjected to higher admissions standards than in-staters. That's the extent to which I agree with you. "They're the out-of-staters!!....You can deny it.."..ALL PUBLIC schools subject out-of-staters to higher admissions standards you imbecile. Why? Because the California Master Plan for Higher Education (and the equivalent documents in other state constitutions) mandate that the public universities of **insert state here** are supposed to serve the residents of the **insert same state here.** Why you even brought that up was absolutely beyond me (probably because..as I said before...you're just an imbecile). Secondly...I won't even bother wading through that pile of dung you called a "post." The whole point of my original post and this whole thread went straight over your head (I'm not surprised). I never said that I'm amazed when people who party/have fun actually do well on exams. You concocted your own idiotic arguments..then started to refute your own statements like the braindead that you are. If someone studies for an exam the night before and pulls off an A, more power to them. I've said this before...apparently, you were too stupid to comprehend my posts. Now please, either read (and try to comprehend) before you post...or just save us all the time and don't post at all.

P.S.: You're completely wrong...I don't eat, sleep, and breathe "MCB related stuff" you numbskull. I actually spend time with ECs and relax on Friday nights (I know, it's shocking...). Oh wait..that's right..you know my life better than I do..sorry, I stand corrected. 🙄

to the last poster...we have the axe.

Quoted from Berkeley Premed...
"Man..it really sucks to be a Cali resident. I should just move to Texas after undergrad...lol."

Figures...

That's called a joke you idiot. (this is evident by the "lol" at the end of the statement) Guess that went over your head too. And I was just saying that because it looked like lots of the Cali residents in that thread were applying to 30+ schools and spending thousands of dollars in the process. (Yes, I know...everyone has to spend lots of $ in the process...but I think Cali residents get it the worst because even our own state schools are nearly impossible to get into..plus..the fewer schools you apply to..the more money you save..that's why people in other states can get away with applying to <10 schools ..they have their own state schools they can fall back on..Cali residents have nothing to fall back on)

Are you at $tanfurd? Your profile says WA. Is that just your home state? We play UW on the 15th.

Mwahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha

I read the first few parts of this thread till I realized there are 6 PAGES OF THIS ****. It's pretty entertaining though. BPM, keep up the good work of making yourself look like an dingus.

That said, I've got 3 points:
1. BPM, you suck
2. to everyone that bashes him: keep it coming
3. you get one shot at life. live it how you want, don't waste it, and remember what (family/friends/faith/fun) is really important.

I'm out like a fat girl in dodgeball

OMG, this thread is so sad and hilarious at the same time.

Though it does bring up a few points.

I AM envious of those who can memorize mass amounts of data in a short period of time and kick butt on their tests. However, the end result is true though.. the turtle will win the race. I am not contentious of people who use this method (as I tried and failed), I am contentious of people arrogant in their abilities. I'm sure you all know people like this. Who pull off stellar grades but are not serious about what they do.

And partying and socializing is one of the MAIN facets of college life Mr. BerekeleyPremed. And if you're not doing it when you're taking the relatively easy courses like general biology.. you're not going to be able to really experience it later if you're serious about your degree. Things just get a LOT harder.

College is not so much about making the grades. In fact, I think grades take a FAR FAR second to what college is really all about. It's about finding yourself. As corny as it sounds, you still have a long time to decide where your life is going to go and to prove it to the necessary people. But you have precious little time if you don't find yourself first. Who are you? What do you want? And how are you going to get it?

If you find those things, everything will fall into place and you have the experience to back it up.

Go out into the medical world and see the doctors who make a difference in the field of medicine, in people's lives. Talk to them. Talk to them about their experiences, their memories.. loves, tragedies. I will almost bet you most of them have a LOT to tell.

I dont know, it seems like everyone is bantering about how much "BPM" is missing by studying so much. Well, I dont really care much about him, but what's the big deal with studying? And along the same lines, some people enjoy the callenge and the rewarding feeling associated with the work.

Take me (of course the epitomization of my example), here's my day to day schedule.

wake up at 8, leave for class.
Study from 8 to 3.
Get home at 4.
Talk to GF/Read/Wax Car/play instrument until 5-6.
Sleep until 8.
Exercise until 9:30.
Eat Dinner till 10:00 (maybe other things until 10)
Then Study untill 2-4.

An I can honestly say I'm perfectly content. I've got my goals and enjoy working towards them - hell, I even like my classes - more than anything I can wholeheartedly say I wouldnt have it any other way - I dont party, dont drink, dont do many campus activities. But, despite my "geeky" nature I'm having a blast.

So, stop talking about how much he's missing out on life - what each person values is really subjective - you might value time with your family. I personally value time making progress more.

That's my take on all this.

I won't bother with the majority of this post...this one is just flat out ridiculous. But yeah, I enjoy perusing the boards and if you actually take time to to read any of my posts, I try my best to help out posters with whatever they need. Don't believe me..just check out the current physics thread, Tofurkey's thread about O-chem, etc. But I know the truth will actually weaken the mind-shattering, scholarly argument you formulated against me (that is..."You suck BerkeleyPremed!!!")...so go ahead and bash away

Squat n Squeeze is up studying for his quantum mechanics quiz tomorrow. 🙁

If the guy were using two different computers, they'd be on the same DSL/ Cable...and he'd be using a router. If this was the case, the router and IP address would be registered under one name..so BOTH computers would have the same IP address. The only way they'd have two different IPs is if he was paying 2 different DSL/Cable bills per month...adding up to around $100/month. All this...to use multiple screen names on SDN. As for using a proxy or trying to setup cable and dial-up...lol...right, I'm sure that's exactly what he's doing.

That is not the ONLY way to have 2 different IPs appear on a message board. It would be rather unnecessary to use 2 connections as well.

All someone might need is some know-how and software, but I won't comment on the specifics. Otherwise BPM and S&S would change from the current " using a proxy or trying to setup cable and dial-up", and populate the board with potentially hundreds of alter-egos........could you imagine!!!!
