Why does fm get paid less per rvu than IM for the same work?

Not sure this is a thing. It would be employer-specific if it were. There's no reason why there should be a discrepancy, as the work is literally identical.

Not a thing based off of any of the hospital owned groups that I've looked at.

Page 19 table 4 was where I was looking, maybe just some regional differences or something, plus it’s 3 years old. Thanks for the replies.

Could be an inpatient vs outpatient impact or medicaid since fm sees kids?
