Why does it take so long to mail the DAT? is it going to affect my chances?

Well I thought submitting my application early would increase my chance however it seems that my DAT is lagging it. I took it on July 14th because I thought it wouldn't take so long to process, however aadsas barely received it last Thursday and is barely gunna mail it out this friday... I was wondering if this would affect my chances of getting into dental school. Also wanted to know if anyone knows which california schools accept unofficial DAT scores so I can fax them in, I know western doesn't.

Hey im in the same boat with the exact same days. I know that Indiana, Ohio State, VCU, Oklahoma all accept a fax of unofficial DAT scores. Thats all i know, double check on your AADSAS profile under the schools you designated and it gives a fax and says if they allow them or not. To bad its taking the ADA forever with our scores.

You are URM and your stats are better than all other URM's. You can send it in November and you will still get in this cycle. Don't worry.
