Why is it called myeloma when plasma cells from the lymphoid lineage?

While typically we use myeloid to refer to that specific lineage that is non lymphoid, the term "myeloid" derives from the greek word "muelos" which just means "marrow." So while confusing, calling it a myeloma is still correct.
