Why is the splenomegaly in myelofibrosis and not in aplastic anemia?

In myelofibrosis the body shifts hematopoeisis to the spleen, since there isn't enough space in the marrow cavity. In aplastic anemia, the reason behind reduced hematopoeisis is a reduction in stem cells. No stem cells means low hematopoeisis in the bone marrow as well as extramedullary tissues such as the spleen.
