why isnt comp sci listed under science gpa?

comp sci is basically math, albeit discrete math, but math nonetheless

then again, engineering includes bcpm topics, but it isn't bcpm, so it's all arbitrary definitions by AMCAS
 
I think it has a lot to do with what department at your school it falls under. It's been a while, but I'm 99% sure that comp sci classes were BCPM on my AMCAS (but comp sci and math were the same department at my school).
