"Why Medicine" is stated in my PS. How to state it in interviews?

I have an interview coming up and I'm having trouble practicing "why medicine" without sounding like I'm just regurgitating my PS.

I outlined pretty explicitly in my PS what led me and why I chose to pursue this career so I can't really think of any other way of expressing this without sounding very similar to my PS.

Any tips? Thanks.

I use the same motivations I wrote about in my PS but I expand on them/ go from a slightly different angle. You're not supposed to have two completely independent "why medicine?" responses.

I use the same points as in my PS, but I just condense it. There should be some consistency in your responses.

Don't assume that your interviewers have read your personal statement.

I basically summarized my personal statement in broad terms which led to follow-up questions. I didn't tell them anything that wasn't already in my file but it seemed to give a nice flow to the start of the interview.

What would you tell your Gramma/Nana/Abuela?
