Why No One Talks about BCP GPA?

Hello everyone,

I have a question about BCP (biology, chemistry, physics) gpa.
I heard some schools say they consider your recent science courses as it is more representative of you than introductory courses (BCP).
Is BCP gpa is a huge part of eliminating applicants? I thought science gpa is more focused, and even in ADEA handbook there is no BCP statistics. I have seen some a school who has a requirement for BCP of 3.0 as a minimum. I am mostly curious to know how majority of schools view BCP gpa.

Biochem, Histology, Physiology, Micro, etc. are all very important to dental schools considering you will be taking those courses again
