Why student doctor?

A future classmate brought my attention to this sight, so I figured I'd check it out to see what I might find. And, to tell you the truth, I was pretty amazed...Not by the content of the posts, but by the number of obsessive compulsive individuals who exist and are determined to participate in the huge pissing contest that disguises itself as "the student doctor network". Who really cares if you have been accepted to every top 10 school in America? And, Why obsess over waitlist movement? - What will be will be...If you don't get in apply again next year or move on, but don't bellyache to everyone on this forum...I feel like many of you need some cheese and crackers to go with all your "whine" or a tin cup and a monkey to accompany all the pathetic pleas.

That would help me out a lot. Do you know anyone else who has gotten into this school! I am really excited! My cousin goes there and we plan to get married in the fall...do you think I would be looked down upon if in my letter I mentioned this?

Wow. Hope that you don't act like this in person or like this as a future doctor. Applying to med school is a very stressful process; if you can't empathize with what other students are going through, then too bad for you.
