I'll give you my reasons:
1. Three year curriculum: no dental school has been able to duplicate it yet.
2. Humanistic approach to education: I would explain, but I want you to do your research or figure it out when/if you interview.
3. Competency-based evaluations: same as #2
4. Location: Close to home, great city, great neighborhood
5. Clinical excellence: You will NEVER run out of patients there. Also because they only have two graduate programs, you are clinically very prepared. So instead of endo going to the endo dept, you get it.
6. UoP Pride/alumni base: 40% of the alumni gave back last year. What does that tell you? That they love and appreciate their school. Ivy league schools are happy if they hit 25-30%.
7. Business management: you have a whole quarter about how to manage your practice by a real consulting firm...you even write a proposal for your business many students end up using.
8. Presenations: One of their admissions staff gave presentations to my undergrad and I went all years and was very impressed each time.
9. Enthusiasm/happiness of staff, faculty, and students: Seriously, I cannot believe how happy everyone is there. The environment and is uplifting and students are so much more happy to be there than other schools I have visited.
There's more reasons, I just can't think of them on the top of my head. I make a list for all the schools I interview at afterwards so I can evaluate where and why I want to go to each school.
