why was this thread closed?

It seems like a ligitamate pharmacy question... I don't think this person was asking for medical advice for themselves but asking pharmacy students a general question about the pharmacokinetics and dosage concentrations of a drug to be effective against a strain of bacteria...

Are we not supposed to discuss educational questions here or are we just supposed to discuss issues like this:

It was their first and only post, so chances are they were probably seeking medical advice. I think the admin would have to be pretty strict about this kinda thing because of potential liability issues involved.

I think in the future if someone wants to discuss topics like this they should just clearly word it so that there is no chance of it being perceived as a request for medical advice.
