what got you into this field? why did you choose to pursue it?

1. primary care AND surgery
2. generally happy and healthy patient base
3. participating in a birth is AWESOME...still totally blows my mind every time
4. interesting fellowship opportunities
5. the major reason...after rotating through many specialties, OB/Gyn is the only one i get really excited about. i could do general and be happy, or i could prob get by as an FP. but if i have the privlege to practice as an OB/Gyn i would consider myself a very lucky man.
