Can someone please explain the logic behind lab taking up 50 billion hours and being only worth 1 credit hour!?!?! I've never understood this. Even if it were worth 2 credit hours, it would still help the GPA out.

Labs take a lot of time, yes. But if you work hard your supervisor will give you a fantastic mark that will pull your marks up. Unlike other courses where effort can be wasted on poor test marks, a supervisor will reward you effort with a good one.

It's a drag working 30 hours a week in a lab (when the 'reccommendation is 8), but you'll get the benefits...that is unless you're a complete ass who does nothing.

I assume you might be talking about orgo lab.. yea, I'm still baffled its 6 hrs long 👎 and all that work counts for 2 credits. But what can we do? Nothing!

Each of your ochem labs was only three hours long? Lucky . . . At my school it's four hours.
