Wide AAMC Practice Test Fluctuations

Hey guys,

Do any of you have pretty wide ranges between the test scores? I've taken 3-9 so far and I've noticed a wide fluctuation in my scores for both science sections. Sometimes I'll get a 14 on PS or BS and other times I might get a 10 or 11. I've looked at a lot of the threads and it seems like people usually have a pretty narrow, 1-2 point range.

Any advice on how to interpret this would be appreciated as this is a fairly frustrating situation as I'm not sure what to believe!

When you score highly, that likely means that the test had topics that you understand well. On tests where you don't do as well, that means that you probably don't have as good an understanding of that material and, as a result, your score suffers.
