I'm currently a Sophomore studying Psych - Pre PT, I have 31 credits with a cGPA of 3.62. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure I am going to receive an "F" for my one math class that I should have dropped, but decided to stick cause I thought I could pull off a B- at the end of the semester. My other grades this semester are going to be 2 B's - B+'s, and 2 A's, will this one F on my transcript completely kill my chances into getting to schools?
I want to apply to Stony Brook and I live in NJ ( will also apply to UMDNJ and such) , I plan to retake the math class next Fall and I calculated out my "projected" Stony Brook Pre-Req GPA and it will be around a 3.65 depending on how I do on Physics, and Anatomy. The only reason I got an F for this math class is my professor was horrible, and barely thought us, more than 2/3 of all his sections failed the semester and I'm really bugging out about this.

No. Just stick to the plan and retake.

An F will not help you, but if you retake the class and do well you should be okay. As GMA said, don't tell them that your professor sucked. That's not an excuse at all. I'm sure others in the class passed. As a student, it doesn't matter if the professor is great or horrible. You as the student are always responsible for learning the material. Even great professors can't make you understand it. These days, with the internet, you can learn anything on your own. I know I might sound hard, but I'm trying to help you as a student. Saying you did poorly because of your professor is a cop out and shows lack of responsibility. On the other hand, a bad professor can make a class miserable and kill any motivation.

this one F will not ruin your chances at all. Especially with your high GPA. Believe me I had my share of F's and still made it.... Just take it over and do well.

I appreciate all the feedback, and I still do blame myself for not trying hard enough to get a decent grade. At least next semester when I retake the class I'll know that I have to put off a lot of extra time for this class and get a proper tutor this time, thanks again!
