Will AADSAS "view source" trick work?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
geez, if you get a letter from a school a day or two before dec 1st, i hope everyone waits until dec. 1st to open it to preserve the integrity of the notification system.

(what a stupid thread)

So those people who got their NOVA acceptances today, on Thanksgiving, how dare you open them! You have no integrity and the admissions committee should think hard about retracting your acceptance. 🙄

P.S. Don't let ghettoblaster know you opened them! :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

P.S.S. I added a sarcastic smiley for you ghetto since you have no nose. Hopefully you have eyes.

Someone please close this thread. The original issue has been addressed, and the thread has degenerated into petty bickering and name calling yet again.

There are also anxious students who worked their entire lives for this and they aren't on that accepted list. With how competitive it is, there is not a whole lot differentiating an accepted versus an almost accepted. If someone was anxious, accepted, and did this while someone was anxious, unaccepted, and did not, it's a no brainer in deciding how to rectify it.

Call it whatever you want; this situation sounds very familiar. Differentiating between "exploiting the source code" and "hacking" seems to be splitting hairs to me. They're both achieving the same end (granted, for one method you didn't have to work as hard to take the information) and the argument is just rationalization and displacing the blame. The applicants defended themselves the same way a few years ago: "Applyyourself should have taken better security measures." Didn't work.

I'm not "upset" about anything; I'm saying I think it's a bad (unprofitable) idea. We're so close. If school is that important it's not worth jeopardizing for a few extra days of dealing with your next set of decisions.

If you were Santa Clause and a 10 yo boy opened his presents before it was time to, would you give that kid a coal next year?

I was wondering how this post had anything to do with ethics. I mean you are only finding out info early, no advantage gained, no babies die

Every time you view a source, God kills a puppy.

i got nothing....sue me!!!:laugh::laugh:

It's great to see so many willing to violate the integrity of the system...

If I had offered an acceptance to an applicant I would totally re-evaluate my decision if they pulled something like that.

OH MY... If I was God and had already made you, I would totally re-evaluate your dumb ass and pull you from the earth.
you're psychotic and need major help ASAP.

Out of curiosity, has anyone's source code this year revealed anything not seen on the original AADSAS web-page?
