I am thinking about turning in my application on the last week of June, and am retaking my DAT in mid July (haven't picked a date yet as I am unsure). My GPA is a 3.47 and science is around a 3.2/3.3. Will I be considered an early applicant? I am thinking of applying to about 20 schools, many private schools.

Pretty much anything before the 3rdish week of July is considered early. Given that it will probably take a few weeks for your new DAT to get to the AADSAS, you will probably be right on the edge of early and average submission time.

ok! and is there a major difference if the score gets in early august or late July? In terms of interviews? Like would you get less interviews if your app was complete in august vs July?

Most schools, don't send out interviews until sometime in August. So probably not not a huge difference and those are only the first round of interviews. The biggest thing at that point is, if your stats are good enough. That is completely dependent on the school and the stats of the students that have a applied so far.

I’d say the first 2 weeks of applications is considered early

The general timeframe for having your application in early is by about mid-July. Anything into August isn't late by any means, it just isn't early.

Same boat here, so would August decrease your chances?

They just give more chances to less ideal candidates early. Once they fill in the first rounds of interviews they start to get more selective with their selections.
