Will I get into Columbia/upenn?

My top two schools are Columbia and upenn but I'm not sure if my stats will get me in. My GPA is a 3.75 and a 3.65 sGPA. for DATs I got: 22 AA, 22 TS, 21 PAT. I know Columbia weighs DAT very heavily into admissions but I'm not sure if my score is up to par. Thanks!!

Also I am mostly worried because I don't have any leadership/volunteering (but I have research and extracurriculars) and I heard the avg DAT score is a 24 for Columbia ?

Average for Columbia was 22.4 for AA, 22 for TS and 21 for PAT.

Your numbers are sufficient but your lack of volunteering will probably hurt you.

Why are UPenn and Columbia your top choices? Any actual reason besides they are Ivies? Not having any volunteering is not a good thing, but your GPA is pretty good and DAT scores are fine.

I'm a bit biased towards the schools because I have friends who go there, and from what I've seen I love it but I'm also looking into NYU. And okay I'll definitely make sure to volunteer before applying! (Also btw I do have 100+ hours assisting/working up front at dentist offices but I got paid so it wouldn't be considered volunteering 🙁 )

Who knows. I applied with a 4.0 GPA and 20AA to Columbia with tons of leadership/volunteer and I have not even heard back from them (applied in June).

those schools also love taking lower gpa kids from certain schools. I know a good amount of kids under 3.5 or around who have gotten into penn or columbia.

no guarantee, but it doesn't hurt to try. There are other cheap schools too

Lots of people turned down UPenn because of the cost this year so I think you will have a good chance. However, they look for excellence in at least one area of your application so if you have a substantial amount of in-depth research experience I think you will get in.

They are probably looking for people who will be kind to their patients and have good people skills as well.
