So I am late in the game choosing to pursue rads so have not been able to do any away rotations. I got a 600+ on both comlex 1-2. All honors 3rd year and top 25% of class. I want increase my chances of matching and apply MD as well but I got a 222 on USMLE. Did not take step 2. I would love to send some applications to ACGME programs but I haven't released my USMLE score to AOA programs.

My question is... Will AOA programs that would have interviewed me not once they see the low USMLE? And would a score of 222 stand a chance at an ACGME program given my other stats?
Thanks!

Just an update. Applied md and so far have 8 interviews so dropped from aoa match. I didn't have to release my usmle to aoa programs

What kind of places did you apply to in the allopathic world? where are you getting interviews from?

I applied only on the east coast. I used the "D.O. Experience" thread on aunt Minnie as a guide and it was pretty spot on

Thought I'd update. I matched at my # 1 rads program and my 3rd prelim. Prelims seem to be getting competitive so I would recommend applying to them broadly as well.
