I want to take a summer General Chem I and II classes.
Will med schools look negatively upon that.
The summer classes will be 4* week instead of 2 as is in the fall, so class hours are basically the same.
Thank you guys.

They don't care about anything except the letter after the description.

i took physics I and II over the summer and at a community college. there's been no problems whatsoever and it's never come up at an interview or anything. as long as you do well, don't worry about it!

At my school the pre-med committee encouraged us to take orgo and bio at the same time because med schools like to see that you can handle taking a large science workload at the same time. That being said I know people that have gotten by with taking summer courses. Ultimately the grade is what is important but if you feel you will be able to do well taking the class in the fall, I would do that.

As long as you show you can do well with a reasonable courseload, that's all they care about.
