Hey all,
I've been having trouble finding the NOVA MCAT physics book, apparently it is out of print and used copies are hard to come by. If there is anyone who has this book and does not require any longer, I wish to purchase it from you.

I ordered the EK 101 Verbal passages and the KAPLAN tests from them last friday. I got the books this Monday. I think they say 15% off Amazon just to show what a great deal they are offering. And also just to put inquiring pre-med minds to rest...no I don't work for overstock.com, it's just a case of shameless plugging.

What's so great about this book? I have it and its quite dry. Also the paper on which its printed is worst than that cheap toilet paper they have in most dorms. Anyway I perfer the Ek physics, its keep me interested in the material.

compare the presentation of heat/energy/thermodynamics/etc in EK and Nova. the latter actually makes sense. and all of the other topics are covered very well, too.

At least with this book, you can use it long after the MCATS are over.

I think if people want MCAT books, they should also try their public libraries.

My public library did not have the NOVA physics book and some EK books and I just did an inter-library loan. I really don't feel like spending more money on the MCAT, so if I can get it for free for a short period of time, I will do that.

I got the MCAT Physics Book NOVA, first 2-3 chapters, there is some writing, but the rest is mint condition! Let me know if you are still interested in purchasing it.

...then it would be illegal. If you're trying to save money, take the advice of one of the posters above--get it from your public library if you can.
