For those of you currently in school or have graduated and moved onto residency, do you believe that a strictly PBL curriculum actually helps? I have the option to choose between PBL and lecture based and it's really stressing me out because I cannot decide which to choose. I know many threads have been posted about this, but I figured I would ask for a fresher perspective.

If you've been accepted to LECOM and have to choose, do not pick lecture unless you are 100% efficient at learning in lecture because you'll be there a lot.

If it's not LECOM, then carry on

Not LECOM. I'm in PBL now, thinking possibly lecture?

That's true. Would you say PBL have to work harder for no reason?

Depends on your learning style. I would have not learned as well in a lecture format...too ADHD. I like to read...people watch...read...talk to friends...read...check out sporting news...
