I had thought no but I heard differently recently...

🙁 lol I've been slacking off this semester and it's been great! Someone tell me I can keep this going and don't have to work haha.

If you have a December 1st acceptance, you can pretty much slack off the rest of the year. They'll still want to see your transcript before you get in, but you just have to pass your courses, doesn't have to be straight As.

I would still try, until you get the acceptance. Then slack. Slacking now does you no favors.

I graduated already so I don't have to do this but

Don't you have to update your fall semester grade later on AADSAS anyway? It looks like they are going to see your letter grade, no?

This is correct.
You have to update fall grades with AADSAS, and AADSAS will send them to the schools automatically.

So, no, no slacking off unless as others have mentioned, you have a Dec1 Acceptance.

Now MY question is... is post-rejection for DS a myth or...

If it makes you feel any better, it's 3:42pm and I'm up studying for a BioChem exam tomorrow...😴

And still on SDN 😀

Schools like NYU will want you to bring academic updates with you to the interview. So yes, some schools will want to see your fall grades. And it looks like you submit them to AADSAS too.

going by the UCSF secondary, or FAQ, as long as the grades are above a B, you should be ok.

my friend was asked for all grades higher than B+ for UCSF for her last semester (Spring). Someone wanna comment on it? I'm not applying there but it may help others out.
