1. How is Beaumont for someone who wants to do a subspecialty later on? Any idea on its reputation for fellowships nationally?
I had a nice interview experience at Beaumont but ultimately decided to stay in Chicago-area for residency.
This is from their website re:fellowships. Keep in mind that they have a number of in-house fellowship programs. While these programs probably would not propel you to the heights of academia, they would probably give good clinical training. Their cards division is well respected.
