Wills Eye Hospital 4th year elective

Hey guys,

Anyone have an opportunity to do an away clerkship at Wills? Is it possibly to do one at Wills w/o being a Jefferson student? If so, what did you feel were negatives/positives?

i'm doing an elective there in october and i'm not a jefferson student, so it's definitely possible. contact them directly for an application (edward jaeger, md, director, undergraduate education, [email protected], 215-440-3171). not sure of what kind of availability they have left though. i set mine up back in june, and i was kinda lucky to get something. there's no application fee, so it's worth checking out.

they've said i'll be spending the first two weeks in the ER and the last two rotating through various subspecialty clinics. not sure of how much i'll get to do though.
