Winding down the first year

As lab finals loom before me (ocular anatomy lab finally tomorrow!) I'm amazed at how quickly this first year went. Where did it go? And why can't it slow down at least for the last two weeks to give me more time to study for ocular anatomy lecture!!! :wink:

Any other OD students out there struggling with lab and lecture finals and closing out their first/second/third year. I don't think we have any fourth years here. 🙂

Does your school require you to do some clinic hours over the summer or take any classes?

Not the first summer. We have the first one off. I'm going to be working for an OD office in the area.

next summer though I'm in the clinc half the summer, taking electives, and studying for boards.

I've heard that the keep the clinic lab open at UHCO for us to practice. Need to find out for sure. Although, I wonder who I can drag down with me to practice with... cpw?

either that or I can find out whether the doc I'm going to be working for will let us practice there. It's right off 45 just two exits north of your family's place. 😀 They even have an office on louetta, maybe I can see if we can use that one! :wink:

Hey cpw, that would be really great! I'm guessing the place you're going to be working at is on Rayford. My parents used to have a little store on Sawdust. I grew up in this area, I really want to move back there some day. Back to pathology...
