Have you ever worked in an ER with windows?

It’s something I always wish was a thing but have only seen once, in the outer banks area, NC.

I could totally see a patient smashing one or doing some other inappropriate things.

The place I just rotated at in Long Island had a couple of high windows in the rooms

Sun would come up 6 am-ish after working all night, was actually kind of nice

My shop has high windows windows and also a glass ambulance bay which is right in the front corner by the Trauma rooms. It is very nice when the late morning sun peaks through. Really brightens the mood.

My shop has windows, it honestly doesn’t change anything for me.

ERs are like casinos. Always timeless indoors, the staff and regulars aren't quite right, normal people visit once or twice in their lives, and the house always wins.

Saw a patient get tossed through a plexi glass window by security once.

That’s going to leave a mark.

The ED I work in now has some windows, by the water. Sometimes I’ll let the patients ramble while I look outside and see what’s going on. Usually big big boats, industrial buildings. Better than a brick wall.
