What DAT score do i need to get into Columbia or NYU. I have 3.9 gpa. My only blemish on my record is I had to leave a MPH program for good reasons -- did 1 semester w/ 3 A+'s. Will this kill me? Also, when is the best time to take the DAT to improve my shot at getting into Columbia or NYU? Thank you.

Take them and get a 18 or above for NYU and you will need atleast a 20 for Columbia. Your gpa will make up for the rest.

I think Columbia cares a lot about AA, 21 or above. The PAT doesn't matter so much with them. My friend got in with a 14 or a 15 PAT (and a 21AA)

Columbia's average DAT is 21, which means they accept people with 19's and 20's if there is something unique about those applicant's other stats; like a high GPA and other experiences that the school considers competitive.
