With my stats, should I wait to take the MCAT in July or should I take the June MCAT?

Hello guys,
My stats are below:
Graduating Senior
4.0 GPA, Science Major, Top 40 University
~400 hours of volunteering at 2 hospitals
~150 non-clinical volunteer hours
~350 research hours, will stay another year working full-time as a lab technician
Pretty good recommendation letters
Some leadership experience
The only thing I am missing is the MCAT. I planned to take the June MCAT but I was too busy and did not have enough time to prepare for it. Should I wait and take the MCAT on July 8? Since I will be applying late, do you think I still have a chance?
Thank you!

As pretty much everyone on this website says, do not take the MCAT until you are ready. Period. You have a chance of a very nice application. It would be a shame to see a bad MCAT tank it.

Well, nothing about your stats guarantees anything regarding your MCAT score…take it when you are ready.

I will say, your ECs are extremely bare…you might want to beef them up a bit…if you score low on the MCAT, it will be very difficult because of your ECs and if you score too high, your ECs won't be comparable to top school acceptees and lower tier schools might not think someone with your stats would matriculate...

If you line up a good MCAT you'll be it a wonderful position come the time to apply. A poor MCAT will hurt your chances and undermine that 4.0 gpa you worked hard to maintain. As others have already said, exercise patience and do not take the MCAT until you are ready.
