Hello,

So it is my second semester Junior year, and I unfortunately got sick right at the end. I am overwhelmed with making up a week and a half of classes. I am already taking 2 incompletes out of my 5 courses this semester so I can finish over the summer. I am taking biochem as an elective, it doesn't count for anything but learning for me, and I don't know if I can handle the rest of the work. I am still sort of sick, getting better, but its tough. I am in Pchem now too and trying to stay afloat in that class. I am applying in about 3 weeks to med schools, so I don;t even have much time once I am done with the semester.

My question is, should I medically withdraw from biochem (it shows up as a W on the transcript) or risk getting a C or B- in the course, dropping my sGPA right before I apply?

Thanks in advnace for your advice!

Do you have a bunch of W's in other classes? What is the difference between an incomplete and a W? I would say if you think you can get a B in it, then stay in, but if you are gonna get lower than a B I would drop. Just my opinion though. Definitely a bad grade is worse than a W.
