Long story short, It's over been three months and my professor still hasn't submitted his letter, despite my periodic reminders. The deadline to one of my schools is coming up really soon and there is no way that AADSAS would get it to the school in time for the deadline.

So, dumb question: Is it better to withdraw my application to that school or just miss their deadline?

I haven't been able to find any relevant threads from the past, so I thought I would ask you guys. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is there any way the prof can send it to the school directly?

When is the deadline? I hope the LOR situation works out for you.

Is this letter only an additional letter only required by 1 of the schools you are applying too?

If this is the case I would contact the professor in person or at least by phone. Inform them of the gravity of the situation (you will be wasting money on an application and missed opportunity to apply to one of your top choice schools, politely of course). If he/she says they can have it sent within 24hrs, then call the school and inform them of what has happened and ask them the best way you could get it to them so it will me the deadline. If the professor is unable to get the letter in within 24hrs, don't worry about withdrawing your application. More than likely it will be rejected due to it not meeting all the requirements.

Good luck 👍
