Hey everyone,

First time posting here in Student Doctor. I am currently a junior looking to apply to dental schools next year. I am taking 5 courses this semester and I am having a really hard time keeping up with the workload. I took 5 courses my last two semesters and it was manageable, but this semester I feel there is MUCH more work.

Anyways, I just took an exam for my English class and it did not go so great. My guess is that I will end up with a pretty bad grade, perhaps a C+ or B- if I'm lucky. I am thinking of withdrawing the course and taking an English course (for my pre-dental requirement) next year instead. What are your thoughts? Does having one withdrawal have any effect on how my transcript will look?

Thanks in advance!

Is it still a withdrawal at this point? Or will it be a WP or WF? Or a letter grade?
Will you get As in everything else if you don't drop?
