The May 15 deadline is quickly approaching, and I realized I needed some clarification about withdrawal letters. I'd appreciate any help!

1. How do you notify a school that you are declining their offer of admission? Postal mail? E-mail?

2. If you receive no response, how can you confirm that the school received and processed your withdrawal letter? One of my fears is that I lose all of my acceptances b/c a school failed to process my withdrawal letter by the May 15 deadline.

Thanks!

I emailed all the schools I withdrew from. Most sent a confirmation email within a few days, but you can always call the admissions office to double check.
