withdrawals on transcript

Hi,

I had to withdraw from all my classes during a semester b/c I had to work fulltime, and the job required that I travelled. So I dropped all of my courses that semester to support my family financially.

Where is a good place to address that on the AMCAS and TMDSAS? In my personal statement or some comment section?

There are 5 W's on my transcript for that semester. Will that affect me negatively? There was nothing I could do. It was either work or lose my house and my family be homeless.

Yeah I would put that in somewhere on there, just to give them a heads up. I'm sure it might come up in the interview, but better address before hand. Don't play too much pity for it, just say it how it is/was and move on.
