are we to place classes in which we had to withdraw on the application?

there is no way to do it on the app, so do we just leave them out?

any help, thanks. 🙂

You give yourself a grade a W or NP.

Yeah, I had to give myself a "W" because there was one on my transcript, and since they match your answers to your transcript, it has to be IDENTICAL. I was pissed, because my W wasn't really from a withdrawal, but a clerical error that didn't remove the class until after the deadline! Lame! 🙄

Does anyone know what a NG counts as? I wasn't able to take a final once because my kid was in the emergency room. I have a NG on the transcript which means "no grade was submitted for this student".

you should've gone to the registrar and argued.

No, I don't think it looks bad. At least, it wasn't brought up at any of my interviews or anything. It just means you either moved things around or found that some weren't right for you. Every school is different, and some may make you put a "W" even if you dropped a class right away. It probably depends on how many of them there are and how the rest of your classes look.

Haha, I totally met with the dean of my college and asked, but it was removed for a legitimate reason (they can't wipe out something if it was indeed after the date). Meh, these things happen in a big university! 🙄

I hope W's aren't that bad...I have 6 of them! 😱

I had several withdrawals on my transcript. It really didn't mean anything during any interviews. One time it was addressed, but with a decent answer they didn't seem to care. Don't stress about it too much.

dude u got 4.0! nothing to worry about. toothache excuse will do it all. 😉
