How do withdrawals count in your GPA? I withdrew from two courses, and it shows up as a 'W' on my transcript. Do they have a GPA value? I know there is something called 'WF', but I didn't fail the course, I just dropped it.

I do not think that AMCAS factors W's into your GPA. That is why you always see people on this site asking whether or not they should take the [insert grade here] or withdrawal.
 
Unless your school counts them, they don't affect you. AAMCAS doesn't count them or I would've been screwed.
 
Amcas doesn't count course withdrawals but they do count drug withdrawals. You're supposed to list each one.
