Should I withdraw from a class I got screwed over by the administration?
It's a psych class which is part of my major; before the administration jumped in I had an A in the class.
The administration basically told me I can either drop the class or try for a possible B/B-.
I'm just upset I got screwed because the administration doesn't believe in me but it's whatever.

What is this administration and what did they do? We need more information. It would seem highly unlikely that this "administration" caused you to go from an A to a B.

It's the professor; the class requires volunteering at a site they decide. I had to volunteer at a place that was extremely unprofessional but I'm going to blame that because of a lack of a budget since they're poor unfortunately and this lead to a lack of training. Regardless, I told them I will no longer volunteer at this place because it's impacting my mental health and they said since I have to volunteer no matter what, the highest I can get is a B. This isn't some B.S thing, my advisor told me I should withdrawal but idk. All the other aspects of the class like essays and HW I have an A in.

Can you really not bear that site for another week or something. Withdrawing is so unnecessary at this point especially if you have A's in everything else. There's gonna be classes/rotations in dental school you might not like. You can't just withdraw

IMO I would keep going with the class.. think about this in a reasonable way.. would you rather have a W on your transcript and have to explain why you have it or would you just rather have a B?? at the end of the day I would assume you are going to have to retake the class.. just take the B.. it shouldn't hurt your GPA too much as long as you have kept diligent with your course work... idk what everyone else has to say about that.. but that's just my 2 cents

I addressed to the coordinator about how the volunteer site is impacting my mental health and she replied saying I cannot volunteer at the site anymore. She explained she doesn't want to be responsible for its effects and I come from a school where rich, snobby people are the stereotypical student and sue if things don't go there way.

interesting... and you chose to go to a rich snobby school why? sounds like that school is not very good if that's their standards.. so are you able to volunteer somewhere else and still finish the class with a B??

Not all the students are bad; I go to UMich and the ross kids give us a pretty bad rep. I went here cuz it's pretty good school and I got a full ride; I'm not rich unfortunately that would be nice tho. I have an alternative to volunteering.

Um if you had an A before whatever happened. I would protest the grade directly to the Dean and Department head. If something weird is going on, I would follow the procedures your college within the school provides on grading and disputes.

I would be shooting emails to people like I was Zeus hurling lighting bolts. I think you gave a good enough reason - it's time for the school to work for you.

This reminds me of the time that I volunteered for Planned Parenthood. Until this day I am still not sure why I got stuck with that place from the beginning. Horrible place to volunteer, I really hope that they run out of business and close soon.
