If you designate a school on your AMCAS but do not return their secondary are you considered to have applied to that school? And if so, are you required to withdraw the application formally or can you just leave it as that?

I would think that by not sending a secndary form that the school would understand that you're not applying

MSM...excellent question I have the same concern.

Second concern, if you re-apply next year will not "formally" withdrawing be a concern. May it be mentioned by interviewers?

I didn't complete a secondary, but I still e-mailed the school to tell them. It takes a few minutes, but I think it's the polite thing to do. Just my .02
