Hello, I am new to this forum, but I have a very important question. I had many gaps with algebra since middle school, and since I finished precalculus in highschool, my advisor said I could do calc, even when I told her about my gaps. Right now in Calc I am really struggling, studying for this class 5-6 hours, and I am ruining my grade with 60s and 50s. The quizes that are bringing me down are 25 min long and are about four questions. I am failing mostly due to my algebra gaps and I have until Oct 8 to withdraw. Calc is making me behind in pretty much all my classes, since I am stuck with studying past algebra. Do withrawals hurt my chances in getting to Dental school? Is it simply better keeping a high D or a low C compared to having a "W"? I have 95s-98s in all my classes, except calculus. Thank you!!
