stupid question, i know:

but is it okay to withdraw from a school via email?
or does it have to be snail mail.

just wondering.

email is ok...unless the schools replies back and says they want a written confirmation of the withdrawal.

so go ahead and email the schools you want out of...and then go from there.

It's not a bad idea to do both an e-mail and a letter-- most places I've talked to have needed my signature on something.

I'd go with Jlee's advice and save yourself some stamps. Most schools are ok with e-mail and if they need more, they'll let you know.
