I got the pleasure of culturing a maggot-infested groin wound last year while having to put up with some really derogatory comments from my patient who was rather intoxicated. My intern thought it was hilarious and make jokes about it whenever he saw me in the hospital! Third year has just started guys, it gets even better! 😀
