Once you're in pharm. school, how much does your GPA matter? I know in high school, GPA was for college, and in college for graduate school, but what's GPA in pharm school? That is, what benefit does a 4.0 pharm school graduate have over a 3.0? I'm assuming the 4.0 would get better job offers or something of the sort, but I wasn't sure if employers even look at that.

Also, I'm probably going to school somewhere on the east coast, but I'm a big fan of California (San Deigo 😎 ) and want to move there as soon as, or shortly after graduating from pharm. If you graduated in another state, and took the licensure exam there too, would working in another state afford you the same credentials? Or maybe, do you have to retake the licensure exam in the new state?

Doesn't currently matter with job offers but it does matter if you want to do a residency.

GPA doesn't really matter unless maybe you go into research. I heard some companies will ask you what your GPA was. Everyone takes the Naplex throughout the states now. You have to take the law exam of california if you want to practice in california. That goes for anybody from california, going to another state for pharmacy, and then returning to cali.California used to have a separate board exam but now i think every state uses the naplex
