I have a journal that I keep in MS Word XP. I was wondering if there was any way I could have a set of links as a menu on either the left or right side of each page. What I would like to do is similar to a website that has a whole bunch of links on the left hand side of the screen. The purpose of this is to be able to navigate within the document easily.

I am not sure if this can be done. I think it may involve altering the template. I am not really sure though.

I appreciated any suggestions. Thanks...

When you open Microsoft Word Help it opens a side bar with functionality independent of the word processor. Is there a possibility I could use such a side bar to place my own links? That would be ideal. Thanks.

Nevermind, I figured it out. You go to Format > Frames and you can add whatever you want from there.
