Hi,

I am working on the work/activites and a haven't been able to find examples of what the experience description should look like. How does this look for a private tutoring experience:

"Tutored local high school students in math and science. Most of this tutoring was done for the XXX family when I was home for breaks. The goal was to increase the students' test scores as well as interest in math and science. By taking an interest in my students' future this goal was achieved."

Thanks in advance

The last sentence is kind of generic. Might recommend mentioning gratification felt from seeing your students progress as a result of your work and the happiness this brought both of you.

Thanks for the response. How does this sound?

"Seeing my students improve was a satisfying experience and motivated me to help my students further achieve their goals."

This book had great examples for how to format activities descriptions and what type of information/commentary to include. My first instinct is that it sounds a little generic and doesn't speak a whole lot to what you experienced/achieved that will be useful for practicing medicine.
