Hi,

Do most programs for Health Administration/Health Policy & Management require a lot of work experience? I'm applying to JH MHA program and was considering Harvard but is the minimum two-year work experience a strict requirement?

Some schools do, some don't. Those that explicitly mention it (such as Harvard) is probably a "strongly suggested" requirement. It probably means you can't apply directly out of undergrad, if that's what you're wondering.

I already have a Master's and have a lots of experience in a laboratory environment. I still have part-time and volunteer work within a hospital...is that still not sufficient?

thanks 🙂

That probably doesn't count. Best bet is to ask the school, though.
