I'm having a hard time remembering bits of information about programs I've visited. Im hoping others here can help fill in. What are the work hours like at these programs?:

UMKC
UT-Houston
SLU
Arkansas

I know some of this is published, but sometimes the residents tell a different story.

Also, which of the following programs allow moonlighting/offer internal moonlighting?:

SLU
Ariizona
Arkansas

Thanks for any help. Just trying to get my rank list organized and realizing I cant remember who said what.

Thanks for the link. I am very familiar with this site, however some programs don't provide all of the information there, like SLU. Others report an average of 60 hrs/week when the residents say at least 70. Im hoping for a more human response based off of what applicants were told by residents or PD's.

I'm not sure if this thread is appropriate for this question, but I'll throw it out there and see if anyone bites. With regards to moonlighting, how much can you be paid for it?

Depends on where you're at. Cleveland Clinic will give you $60/hr, some others give you $30/hr. One of the NYC programs pays you like $1500 bucks for a weekend shift.

i think utsw pays $70 an hour. moonlighting i feel is important, but not crucial. if something comes up during residency, or want to plan a huge international trip, i can work a few weekends and earn bonus cash without disturbing the economics of the household. 😍
