Hi fellow SDNers-

Do you know how somebody who went to dental school in, lets say Ohio, can practice in Georgia or some other state?

I know there are NBDE I and II that are "national" exams, but then there are also "state" licensure exams, right? So when do people usually take the state exams and how could one graduate from a dental school of one state and then practice at a different state?? Is this feasible?

Thanks guys!

Thanks for the link.

I have a follow-up question:
It looks like both Ohio and Illinois participate in the North East Regional Examination Board. So does that mean that I do not have to take different separate exams to practice in Illinois if I earned a DDS/DMD degree in Ohio?
