Hi All,

I have a technical interview next week for Kaplan as a part-time MCAT tutor, and it looks like after training and what not I'd be able to teach only 1-2 classes before I matriculate in the fall. At this point it looks very likely that we will be moving for med school, but I'm still interested in teaching for them during M1-2 if time permits.
Do you think they'll hire me with this knowledge? Of should I just pursue private tutoring? I have a full-time job currently, but I'm trying to save before we start living on one income.

Thanks!

They prob wont hire you unless you lie. I dont think it omes up in the tech interview though, but IIRC they want you for at least a year, which ostensibly you could teach during first year since its not THAT much work but if you tell them you plan on bailing in 6 months I dont think they will hire you.
