Working

My friend worked as a server at a restaurant. I have no idea where she found the time.

I worked during summer break. I used the money to buy clothes.

I wish I worked and invested instead lol

The thought of using loans for regular living stuff just seems weird to me haha
I just got a credit card for the first time last week (my parents forced me)

I work during school doing DAT Prep stuff. And I'm on HPSP so I get paid through that too. 😀

Its 100% doable if you manage your time. Im lucky where my Side hustle is remote and i work from my laptop so i take study breaks and weekends to do my other job. I still have plenty of time to socialize/hang out with my friends too but also do well in school. Im a firm believer in studying hard rather than studying for a long time.

i used to work at Chipotle Mexican Grill during college to make some money. The free burritos didnt hurt anything besides my waistline though.

Our D1 spring semester here is chill/easy so you never need to go to class except to drill/take exams so we joked that we could have worked 9-5 finance jobs in downtown boston.

I will say this: spending/having money that isn't from loans feels awesome. A lot of my classmates who are 100% all on loans live extravagantly since they aren't going to the Navy after graduation and are going to be rich dentists.......

I had multiple jobs even though I didn't need to work: got paid to do research (stipend during the year), did teaching/tutoring (weekends and evenings), some remote consulting, volunteered for paid lab studies. I actually finished dental school with a six figure NW since I was on full scholarship. Use your time well 🙂
