Everybody else on the starting line up have been sluggish this game and last.
Player #2, y-something, came in with a lot of energy, and #16, green, also with a lot of energy was able to make a goal.
IMO #2 or #16 should replace #18.
That's all.....
Those two players really wanted to win, plus Howard, best ball blocker by far,

Prior to today, Green hadn't done anything for the USMNT nor his club team, Bayern Munich. If you can't even name the players on the roster, you probably shouldn't be recommending who should start. The whole team was exhausted. To suggest that some of the players wanted to win less than Yedlin or Green is insane.

I like the USA team from the beginning of the World Cup. But the last 3 games they were not on point like other teams.
I bet if they played Greece today they would of lost.
The starting line up lost their mojo to want to win, Howard, team captain, Gonzalez, #7, and bearnly were still playing good.
I think players #2 and green, should of had more game play., things probably would of been more favorable.
I just disagreed to your post, it seemed kind of snobby.

You may think it's snobby, but I was speaking the truth. The fact is Green has zero goals and only two appearances for Bayern Munich. He had only played a few minutes prior to today for the USMNT. He hasn't done anything thus far to deserve to start. The mere fact that he made the team raised quite a few eyebrows, but it obviously paid off.
As well as Yedlin played today, he put himself out of position to defend on several occasions. The team is young and is improving. This experience for Yedlin, Green, Johannsson, Fabian Johnson and John Brooks will pay dividends in four years.

Perhaps you mean Damarcus BEASLEY?
Looks like we have yet another bandwagon soccer fan over here...

Didn't want to say it myself
As much as I dislike bandwagon fans, it's good for any sport because it brings exposure that it might not otherwise receive. The USMNT is improving, but we lack the elite striker or attacking midfielder that so many top nations have. Jurgen is trying to change the entire soccer culture, right on down to the youth teams. Give it time, but I'm sure our team will advance to the quarters or semis within the next 2-3 World Cups.
Big Game tomorrow fellow band wagoners , Brazil vs Colombia,
Kick off at 4pm
I say 3-2 Colombia

Now that France is out, I guess I can change my avi...idk why, but I still don't trust Brazil even though all they do is keep winning.
Brazil is going to win. The team is pretty good, but they use a lot of unethical tricks.
The refs go easy on them.

Brazil is not winning this. Not without their captain or Neymar. I could see FIFA try to cheat and try to help Brazil, but there is no way they can help enough to get past Germany.Brazil is going to win this thing..... World Cup

Oh 'common. It's not like we suck all of a sudden. Dante will come in for Thiago Silva, and he might actually be better considering he plays with a bunch of the Germans (don't forget he starts for Bayern Munich). Neymar will be replaced by Willian, which obviously is a downgrade, but not a huge one.
I really hope Germany underestimates Brasil, because this team is still one to compete for the cup.
Brazil hasn't lost at home in a competitive match since the 1975 and Germany's back line had a hard time handling Algeria so the many people saying it will be a cakewalk for the Germans have another thing coming. Yes Germany should win on paper but the game is played on the field. Germany's all time record against Brazil is not good 4-12-5 and a huge part of it is that they struggle to defend against such a fluid playing style with their giant 6'4" and 6'5" defenders. @BrazilianRider I hope they underestimate us too but they wont it's Germany and they are all business. It will be a great game but I think we come out on top and hopefully face Argentina, just looking at those striped jerseys makes me want to puke.
WOW, BRAZIL AINT GOING TO WIN.
GERMANY 4 GOALS IN 30 MINUTES......
IN THE WORLD CUP.......
THAT IS A BIG HIT

It must be the beer and sausages
Germany trying to score for each letter in their name. haha
They got it!
There will always be another World Cup in four years, and until then, there will always be beer!
Lets guess the finals.
It'll be Germany vs Netherlands. I said it first!
See, this is why nobody likes Argentina. Everybody wanted to see Brasil vs. Argentina and Germany vs. Netherlands, and they had to go and mess it up.

Well we got shelled, but Argentina had plenty of notice that they were supposed to bomb their game.
Now we get to see Germany annihilate them too, although I highly doubt they'll be able to achieve as impressive a score as 1-7.
